Kansas Trail Corridor

Press Release - Nov. 3, 2014

Businesses, Communities Can Grow with Kansas Trails

The Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism wants to help communities and businesses attract and serve visitors to the Flint Hills Nature Trail and the Kansas River National Water Trail. Learn how to leverage the trails to create tourism opportunities, grow businesses, attract visitors and boost local economies. The focus of the project is helping businesses wanting to serve trail enthusiasts, but any business seeking assistance is encouraged to take advantage of this coaching opportunity.

Let us know if your community or business is interested. For more information, contact: Dana Williams – Center for Rural Entrepreneurship, 402-323-7336 or email dana@e2mail.org no later than March 1, 2015.

This project is being supported in part through a Rural Business Enterprise Grant (RBEG) provided through USDA Rural Development in Kansas. Matching support is being provided by NetWork Kansas, the Kansas Small Business Development Centers and the Center for Rural Entrepreneurship.
