INFORMING POLICY

How We Can Help

Through our affiliation with the Rural Policy Research Institute (RUPRI – www.rupri.org), we are able to translate our research into knowledge for policy makers at the federal level. We are also able to inform policy makers at the community and state levels through our partnerships in the field. We view our role as informing policy by sharing insights gained from understanding the innovative entrepreneurship development practices across rural America. We bring this knowledge to bear on an assessment of the current policy environment in a region or state, and then offer other models as examples that might be adapted to a particular situation.
