Senior Fellow, New Generation Partnerships
Craig Schroeder is Senior Fellow and independent consultant working with the Center’s New Generation Partnerships solution area. He has been affiliated with the Center since 2003, with a primary focus on youth entrepreneurship and helping communities develop effective youth and young adult engagement systems. Craig, who grew up on the family farm near his hometown of 223 people, brings more than 25 years of agricultural and rural work experience to his field. Of particular note is Craig's work in creating the Youth Attraction Formula, a tool for rural communities to address persistent population decline largely due to significant youth out-migration. Craig graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics with emphasis in Rural Community Economics and Marketing.
